Katrina Fitzpatrick is the director for 6th grade band, MJHS concert band, MJHS jazz band, and the woodwind instructor at MHS. All 6th grade students have the opportunity to participate in the Morton School District Beginning Band! 6th Grade band registration will be on September 12, 2005, 3:30 - 6:00 p.m. in the MJHS band room; however students are welcome to join at any point in the school year. Practices are Monday, Tuesday, and Fridays from 7:45 - 8:10 a.m. in the MJHS band room. Annual 6th grade band performances include 3 concerts at MJHS, IGSMA Regional Contest, IGSMA State Contest, and Arts in the Park.

Mr. Martin runs the orchestra program for the district. He does rehearsals before school and small group lessons during the day for the grade schools and also runs the Jr. high and high school programs.
