I love being a Grundy Gator…having been one either as a parent, grandparent or secretary since 1982. I love my job as school secretary. Some days can be challenging but all days are very rewarding. It is such a blessing to work with so many wonderful families and staff. My family consists of my husband Richard, to whom I have been happily married for 48 years, our son Jeremy (his wife, Jody and their daughters, Fiona and Scarlett and son, Lincoln), and our daughter Gretchen (her husband Dean, and their son, Keegan and daughter, Brynleigh). My favorite activities are spending time with family and friends, spoiling grandchildren, serving in various capacities at church, playing the piano/keyboard, and reading.
This is my fifth year working in the office at Grundy. I feel blessed to be a part of such a wonderful staff and group of students. I enjoy interacting with the students, their different characteristics and watching them develop from year to year.
I grew up in Champaign and enjoy watching Fighting Illini sports and St. Louis Cardinals baseball. My husband Dax and I have one child, Drew. He is a junior at Morton High School. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, shopping and watching my son play sports.

This is my 8 th year working at Grundy. I am a clerical aide, but I also help with lunches and recesses each
day. I feel truly blessed to work with such wonderful and caring teachers and staff. It is very rewarding
to interact with the students every day and observe the wide variety of personalities.
I was raised in North Pekin/Marquette Heights and graduated from Pekin High School. I have been
married to my husband, Dan for 25 years. I have three children. Brandon is 34, Aleisha is 33, and
Jackson is 16. He attends Morton High School as a Sophomore. My daughter has given me two beautiful
granddaughters and two handsome grandsons. Addie is 11, Rowen is 9, and Stockton is 2 and a half,
and Magnus was born Feburary 8, 2017.
In my free time, I enjoy reading and spending time with family and friends.
